I’m Allison, the heart behind this blog. I’m a wife of nearly six years, a proud mama to a wonderful toddler, and we call beautiful Southern Illinois home. Most days, you can find us fishing on the lake, soaking up the outdoors as a family.
In addition to being a wife and mother, I also work full-time as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), supporting children with Autism. I truly love what I do—it’s rewarding, energizing, and keeps me young at heart. ❤️
When I’m not working or hanging with my mini bestie, you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book at my favorite local coffee shop. I’m a self-proclaimed coffee addict and a passionate reader of thrillers, rom-coms, sweet romances, and historical fiction. Whether it’s a physical book, an ebook, or an audiobook on my 45-minute commute, I’m always reading something!
Music-wise, I enjoy a mix of country and pop, but I usually have an audiobook playing instead of the radio. When my husband and I get some time to ourselves, we love catching baseball games, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants. If I’m out with friends, we’re likely sipping wine at a local winery and soaking in the laughter.
